HPI have been checking the histories of used cars since 1938. They were the first to introduce this invaluable service and their many years of experience in the industry means that the HPI Check service represents the very best in vehicle history checks. HPI's role in the second-hand car market is crucial. It provides private car buyers, car dealers, finance houses, and the insurance industry with access to information on all UK registered vehicles and ensures that vehicles are legal to buy and sell.
HPI approached us for support in building a robust social media presence. An initial part of building that presence would be the design, build and implementation of branded Facebook and Twitter accounts. Beyond that, we were asked to develop, curate and serve content that tied back to HPI, their services and the dangers that they help people to avoid.
What We Did
We created and implemented a fan-gated Facebook page while running an integrated social giveaway for which the prize was an iPad.
We kept the social channels within HPI brand guidelines and delivered a social identity that complemented HPIʼs new website.
Designed an infographic, which was used in press releases and advertises the HPI services.
We increased social activities, took control of all HPI’s social channels and created a blog design that hosted new, original content that was sourced out to relevant bloggers and communities to increase the reach of HPI.
